Chamfering

Cutting chamfering is a continuous and cutting process. This creates a continuous chamfer from the tooth tip to the tooth root at a defined angle.

For chamfering gears, Profilator offers you a chamfering unit for cutting machining in one setup with the Scudding^® gear milling machine, which allows a quick and very precise chamfering process to be integrated into the machine with little space required.
